Your design imprint size depends on sizes ordered
The actual image size for your design will depend on the sizes of shirts in your order. While keeping your design in proportion, we will print your design to either the maximum height or width of the smallest ordered garment size.
Printing the same size design on different sizes of shirts
Even though the shirt size width and height will progressively grow larger with each larger size in your order, the screen printed image size will remain the same. The following shows an approximately 9″ wide by 9″ tall design placed on shirts sizes ranging from youth extra small to adult XXL.
If your screen print order requires a broad range of sizes, and you believe your design may appear too small on the largest sizes, or too big on the smallest sizes, then consider having us create additional screens to accommodate the different imprint sizes for your order.
Toddler and infants
While it is possible to print an order with sizes ranging from Youth XS to Adult 2XL with the same imprint method, if your order consists of toddler or infant apparel, the imprint size and print method will probably not be the same as your Youth and Adult shirts.
For some orders we can screen print infant and toddler apparel, however, if your order has a multi-color design, or complex graphics, we will need to modify the design and print method to accommodate the smaller toddler and infant sizes. Most of the time we will simplify the design and use a print process with heat transfer material instead of screen printing. This provides us with greater flexibility with size and application.
